Timmerman Design

Timmerman Timberworks takes a project from concept to reality, and everything in between. Part of this process is the computer modeling of each project, which allows customers to visualize the structure before the first timber is cut.

One of our goals is to combine the best characteristics of the CAD environment—speed, visualization, and the ability to detail complex models—with some of the oldest woodworking skills known to man.

We take a great deal of pride in our technical design and timber detailing skills, and we continually update our systems to ensure that we are working with the best software on the market.

Designing has afforded us a wealth of experience on both sides of the design coin—the aesthetics of the timber work and the structural analysis required to ensure that everything works. Since we design the timber work for about 90% of the projects in which we are involved, this ensures the management of each project and each phase of the build is taken care of.

Here are a few examples of the design work provided by Timmerman Timberworks.
